Are you ready to elevate your space with our creative interior design?

In May of 2011, my son and his fiance were coming from Germany to visit and I wanted to have an engagement party for them at our house. We needed some work done on the house first and I immediately thought of Deborah Graves of The Design Source. I asked if she could get the work done within six weeks (my deadline). We discussed the job which I wanted done. I needed a wall removed and replaced with a half-wall between my living room and dining room. I wanted the current carpeting removed and replaced with wood flooring in the hall and dining room and carpeting in the living room. Both rooms and the entry way and hall were to be painted…It was astonishing to see how beautiful the project turned out and we were also done a week earlier than promised. This allowed us to finish the painting and even hang pictures before our son arrived! We are very happy with the results and I know if I had tried to do it myself it would not look as sophisticated and “put-together” as it does now. Deborah is a very talented decorator.

Words cannot express my gratitude for all that Deborah Graves has taught my husband and I about decorating our home. Within a few hours of our first meeting, and a few seemingly simple questions as she walked through our home, she was able to explain our personal style and pull together a color palette that would fit us and our design style. We listened to her ideas and implemented each of them. Since this first appointment, we have not struggled when shopping for our home. Whether it is a new piece of furniture that we are seeking or wall or window decor, we know if it is something that “fits” or if we should pass it up. We now walk into a home that is truly a reflection of all that we love.

My husband and I have used The Design Source on several projects in our home over the years. We have found Deborah and her staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. The professionalism and timeliness of the work also is great. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

We built a new home out of state and The Design Source saved us money and time. Deborah not only has a great vision even from the smallest information from the client, but does not push her opinion if you don’t agree.
How wonderful to have someone in Kokomo that can help you with your furniture and fabric needs.
She has never been to my house, but I see our joint decision in every room. We are super satisfied clients.

When we decided to build our home, I knew what I wanted my home to look like. I knew how I wanted to feel when I walked into the rooms. I just didn’t know how to make it happen. Deborah made the overwhelming process of designing the rooms for our new home a wonderful experience. She helped me communicate with contractors and showed me options I never would have come up with on my own. I could write pages about color coordination and fabric choice and tile layouts and attention to detail, but the best thing about working with The Design Source is that the final decisions were always mine. She always attuned to how we were going to be using the space. It wasn’t just a design project. She wanted us to be happy with our decisions. At the same time, her expertise made our choices look amazing. Our finished home looks beautiful and is truly our home. With her guidance, the home looks and feels the way I want it. She has been available for updating and maintenance questions and I trust her completely to give me fair, honest, and excellent advice.

Upon achieving empty nester status, we wanted to transform our home and update from our initial decorating style. Neither I nor my wife are gifted in interior decorating but we wanted to do it right and get some fresh ideas that pulled a consistent style and colors throughout our home.
One call and a meeting with Deb Graves confirmed we had a creative professional who could translate our conversations into a warm elegant style, color palate, and have a variety design ideas and options that would challenge us while encouraging us that, you’ll love it, and she was right.
We appreciate Deb’s patience and willingness to let us do what we can while we move from project to project and room to room. We are not done but have nothing but good things to say about how Deb has coached and encouraged us; we look forward to doing more soon.

The Professionalism practiced by The Design Source is of the highest standard and it is paired with the designer’s ample amount of experience. The Design Source provides excellent resources to carry out almost any project.

I personally love Deborah’s enthusiasm for her work. I am uneasy about change, but while working with Deborah, I was put at ease knowing that her goal was my happiness. I have worked very slowly – one room at a time. Through the process, she has been a joy to work with. Big or small, her business can help you get your project accomplished.

Before Deborah’s consultation, I was overwhelmed with too many choices of hardwood flooring for my kitchen and dining room. She was really helpful in narrowing down my decision and picking the perfect color to go with my cabinets. Deborah has also helped me with paint colors for various rooms in my home. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I used Deborah Graves to update my kitchen cabinets, she listened to my ideas and gave me her suggestions as well. She ended up taking out the bulkhead and having cabinets made that go to the ceiling…and we love it. Her other suggestions included cutting back a wall to better accommodate my counter depth refrigerator and adding additional lighting. The lighting under the upper cabinets is a game changer while prepping for a meal.
It was so nice to have someone else in charge of coordinating what needed to be done and when, and knowing she has professional contractors that do an incredible job! Deborah and her staff kept us informed along the way and the finished product was wonderful!
I would and will use Deborah again when we are ready to update our bathrooms!

In my opinion, Deborah is a design genius. She has the ability to see your space, listen to what you want and then deliver a magazine worthy product. She has the experience, connections and resources to bring the design of your dreams to life. She is extremely organized and meticulous with her projects from start to finish. When I’m in my kitchen, I literally feel like I’m in a work of art that she designed. I can’t wait for our next project together! Deborah has established a network of team members and very talented craftsmen who enable the visions to come to fruition off the pages of her design.

I have worked on many design projects through the decades. Deborah Graves and her company, The Design Source, have provided outstanding service. From the consultation, to the development of a design plan, and execution of the plan, no detail was ever missed! This included the recommendation of an excellent contractor and other professional trades people that made the dream of a design plan a reality. Deborah, has assisted me with 4 different homes, one of which was even out of state, and though she was not able to be on site, her advice and guidance in helping me make design choices made a new
house feel like home. She is highly credentialed, and possesses nearly an expert level understanding of all the many different elements of design.

Deborah Graves and her company, The Design Source, deserve the highest recommendation! 10/5 Stars!!!
